5 reasons for the malignant neglect of NCDs

Inis Communication "As I watched coverage of (...) World Health Day on diabetes, I began writing an article asking why noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) remain so neglected among global health priorities. After ten minutes of background reading, I discovered that the article had already been written: by David Stuckler and Sanjay Basu in 2013.

They published an excellent perspective piece entitled Malignant neglect: The failure to address the need to prevent premature non-communicable disease morbidity and mortality. I would argue that their article is even more relevant today than it was three years ago." (Photo: Trinity Care Foundation/ flickr)
