Promoting access to health in fragile contexts: What role for international health cooperation?
28.05.2016 / Geneva, ICRC Museum
Public side event to the MMI General Assembly 2016
MMS It is a difficult task to implement health programmes in environments, where the systems for health are already weak and threatened by a wide range of political and social conflicts. Working in these fragile contexts demands a very sensitive approach for not worsening the situation. International health cooperation can play at the other hand an important role in building fragile contexts by building robust service delivery institutions and by integrating crisis response strategies.
