Swiss TPH receives significant grant
Swiss TPH Pregnant women infected with HIV and their families will get significantly better treatment when a 'one- stop clinic' opens in Ifakara, Tanzania. The clinic shall help to drastically lower maternal mortality and mother-to-child HIV transmission through increased prevention efforts and integrated care. To support this, the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH), a non-profit organization, received a grant of around 450,000 Swiss francs from the global 'MSD for Mothers' program which issues grants in collaboration with the U.S. Government and other stakeholders in more than 20 countries across the globe to combat maternal mortality.
