Oktober 2015) Das Symposium des Netzwerks Medicus Mundi Schweiz hat sich heute in Basel mit der Rolle der Gesundheit in der Schweizer Aussen- und Entwicklungspolitik auseinandergesetzt. Ist die Schweiz angesichts der verschiedenen Krisen auf der Welt und des Spardrucks in der Schweiz noch ausreichend gut aufgestellt?

MMS Das Netzwerk Medicus Mundi Schweiz hat im Juni 2015 eine Stelllungnahme zum Entwurf der Direktion für Entwicklung und Zusammenarbeit (DEZA) zur Botschaft über die internationale Zusammenarbeit 2017-2020. Die Botschaft ist das zentrale entwicklungspolitische Strategiepapier der Schweiz und wird im Laufe des Jahres 2016 vom Parlament verabschiedet.
UN General Assembly
The Lancet The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has been prepared over the last three years. These goals are set to replace the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Are the SDGs able to overcome the unfinished business of the MDGs? UN has developed these very ambitious 17 goals in order to "free the human race from the tyranny of poverty and want and [will] heal and secure our planet for present and future generations”. Dies meinen die AutorInnen einer Studie der englischen Denkfabrik Chatham House, die unter dem Titel "Analysing Proposals for Reform of the Global Health Architecture" veröffentlicht wurde.

A short Introduction
PAHO Health in All Policies (HiAP) is an approach to public policy that systematically takes into account the health implications of decisions, seeks synergies, and avoids harmful health impacts in order to improve population health and health equity. Many of the social, environmental, and economic determinants of health have origins that extend beyond the health sector and health policies. Therefore, it is important that the impact on health be considered across sectors and at all levels of governance.
How to implement the Framework
PAHO This document serves as a “starter’s kit” for applying Health in All Policies (HiAP) in decision-making and implementation at national and subnational levels. It can be easily adapted for use in different country contexts and at the regional and global level. (pdf)
Promoting, implementing and evaluating HiAP
WHO This manual is a training resource to increase understanding of the importance of Health in All Policies among health and other professionals. The material will form the basis of 2- and 3-day workshops, which will build capacity to promote, implement and evaluate HiAP, encourage engagement and collaboration across sectors; facilitate the exchange of experiences and lessons learned;promote regional and global collaboration on HiAP; and promote dissemination of skills to develop training courses for trainers.
