Technology for Maternal, Newborn and Child Care: Can we rely on it for the future?

Enfants du Monde (EdM) In a world in which internet access and possession of mobile technologies is rapidly becoming commonplace, the potential of mobile Health (mHealth) to increase equitable access to health services and improve MNCH is becoming more evident. However, despite a growing implementation of such initiatives, the evidence remains weak as to their impact, how to best leverage and scale them and how they can effectively contribute to health systems strengthening. During the Geneva Health Forum, Enfants du Monde and the Geneva University Hospitals will organize a parallel session to examine experiences in implementing, scaling up, institutionalizing and evaluating mHealth technologies as one among many efforts that countries do to improve MNCH. This parallel session, co-chaired by Pr. Louis Loutan, will be held on April 11th, 4pm. To attend this session, please register on the Geneva Health Forum website: http://ghf2018.g2hp.net/ Participants are invited to a cocktail following the session, co-organized by Enfants du Monde, Medicus Mundi Switzerland and Medicus Mundi International.
