Universal Health Coverage and the New Health Economy

Graduate Institute Geneva A number of forces are at work at the economic, social, and political level as countries all over the world transition to Universal Health Coverage (UHC). This event will focus on the emerging concept of the health economy and its potential implications on the future of UHC. (...) This discussion, hosted on the margins of the 69th session of the World Health Assembly by the Global Health Centre, Rabin Martin, and the Johns Hopkins Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health and the Study of Business Enterprise, will address the governance and policy challenges related to the concept of the health economy and the risks and opportunities associated with increased public and private partnerships.
