(D) Im Namen des Vorstandes von Medicus Mundi Schweiz, Netzwerk Gesundheit für alle, lade ich Sie herzlich ein, an unserer Mitgliederversammlung vom 23. Mai 2013 teilzunehmen. Die Versammlung findet wie in den letzten Jahren im Neuen Museum Biel statt. Wir freuen uns auf Ihr Kommen!

Primary Health Care and cooperation: A utopia? Jubilee Assembly 50 years of Medicus Mundi Spain - 50 years of Medicus Mundi International Network
Barcelona, 7-8 June 2013

MMI | The Jubilee events of the Federation of Medicus Mundi Spain (MM Spain) will start with a scientific conference on “Primary Health Care and Cooperation: A utopia?” in the Medical College of Physicians of Barcelona, in the upper side of the city. The Assembly of MMI on Saturday morning will be hold in parallel with the MM Spain Jubilee Assembly at Casal del Metge (Mutual medical), located in the Gothic Quarter close to the Cathedral. There will be a jubilee dinner on Saturday evening and further jubilee side events from Friday to Sunday.

Jahresversammlung und Konzert der Bündner Partnerschaft Hôpital Albert Schweitzer Haiti

BPHASH | Nach dem grossen Erfolg der letztjährigen Versammlung im Auditorium der GKB Chur haben wir uns entschlossen, die Versammlung auch in diesem Jahr in einem besonderen Rahmen mit dem Titel „Ein Herz für Haiti“ durchzuführen. Nach der kurzen Geschäftssitzung geht es um14:45 weiter mit aktuellen Bildern aus dem Hôpital Albert Schweitzer Haiti. Die Medizinische Direktorin, Frau Dr. Silvia Ernst, wird direkt aus Haiti berichten. Umrahmt wird diese Präsentation durch ein Konzert der in der ganzen Schweiz und im Ausland bekannten "Compagnia Rossini" unter der Leitung von
Armin Caduff. Die Veranstaltung ist öffentlich. Eintritt frei. Kollekte. Freunde und Bekannten sind ebenso herzlich willkommen. (pdf)

Benefiz-Orgelkonzert zum 50 jährigen Jubiläum der Kinderhilfe Bethlehem

Kinderhilfe Bethlehem | Die Kinderhilfe Bethlehem ist für ihre Spenderinnen und Spender seit 50 Jahren eine Brücke zu den Kindern und Müttern in Bethlehem. Der Walliser Pater Ernst Schnydrig initiierte den Verein, um die Arbeit im 1952 gegründeten Kinderspital Bethlehem finanziell zu sichern. Mit einem Benefiz-Orgelkonzert bedankt sich die Kinderhilfe Bethlehem bei allen Freunden und Förderern für ihre treue Unterstützung. Unter dem Titel „Nocturne“ spielt Suzanne Z‘Graggen aus Solothurn auf der grossen Orgel der Luzerner Hofkirche ausgewählte Werke zum Thema Abend und Nacht. Der Eintritt ist frei.

How to plan successfully? A focus on priority setting, resource allocation and strategic planning

Swiss TPH | This intense course aims on enabling the students to plan health projects and programmes, based on systematic analyses of the respective setting. It focuses on practical aspects of the planning and implementation process, using the techniques of a simulation exercise and computer based support. At the end a full project proposal is produced.

Summer School in Public Health Policy, Economics and Management

Swiss TPH | "The Summer School in Public Health Policy, Economics and Management is organised by SSPH+, the Institute of Economics (IdEP) of the University of Lugano and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH). The Summer School takes place annually in Lugano for one week in late
August. Courses (three or six days) are intended for professionals and managers of health administrations, hospitals and other services and facilities within the health sector, policy-makers and any student registered for one of the continuous education programs coordinated and supported by the SSPH+. Daily morning plenary sessions focus on current and relevant public health topics."

Public Health | Qualifikationsprofil im Gesundheitswesen anpassenSeit 1992 bietet der Interuniversitäre Weiterbildungsstudiengang Public Health zahlreiche Module an. Neben der Weiterbildung "Master of Public Health" (Master of Advanced Studies) werden auch CAS-Lehrgänge (Certficate of Advanced Studies) angeboten ("CAS in Epidemiologie und Biostatistik", "CAS in Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention" und "CAS in Gesundheitssysteme"). Die Weiterbildung richtet sich an Fachleute, die ihr gegenwärtiges oder künftiges Qualifikationsprofil an neue und komplexe Herausforderungen im Gesundheitswesen anpassen möchten. Die meisten Module stehen auch Interessierten offen, die sich im Public Health-Bereich fortbilden wollen.
