"Research in a Warzone", an article appearing today (June 30) in the weekly international and interdisciplinary journal of science, Nature, describes the experiences of the Swiss Centre for Scientific Research (CSRS) in Côte d'Ivoire over the last decade. While many international partners have pulled out of Côte d'Ivoire since the coup d'état in December 1999, CSRS, a longterm partner institution of Swiss TPH, maintained essential research and support activities throughout that time, including during the most recent crisis beginning in November 2010.
