Sex, Youth and Health…The Discussion Goes On
Swiss TPH This year’s Swiss TPH Spring Symposium, “Sex, Youth and Health” brought some 100 participants and speakers together to share experiences and discuss issues related to adolescent sexual and reproductive health (SRH). The head of the Adolescent Health and Development (ADH) team at the WHO, Dr Chandra Mouli, presented an overview, followed by presentations from various international experts and Swiss TPH staff. Programme coordinators presented hands on experiences from the operational perspective encompassing Moldova, Yemen, Tanzania, the Central African Republic and the GTZ Mitmachparcours. The use of modern IT technology and its relevance to young people and their sexual lives also presented an interesting discussion. The day closed with a panel discussion linking policy, programmatic work and research in adolescent SRH. Presentations, posters, speaker’s profiles and a photo gallery can be found on the symposium website.
