A more holistic response to malaria is overdue

British Medical Journal Despite the worldwide considerable success in the fight against malaria, there are still contexts where the toll of malaria is worsening and seasonal spikes in patient numbers are getting higher. This is not only due to climatic factors or weak health systems, particularly in fragile regions, but also due to the growing insecticide resistance.
