Norway in Geneva On 14 January, Norway, together with partners, will launch a Strategy to Eliminate Harmful Practices 2019-2023, covering child marriage, female genital mutilation (FGM) and son preference. It’s high time to strengthen efforts to eliminate harmful practices, and efforts must be based on the protection of human rights and promotion of the rights of children and women, including sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
