FAIRMED continues its designated path

FAIRMED 2015 has been a challenging year for FAIRMED : Just when the situation in Central African Republic seemed to calm down, the earthquakes in Nepal struck. We had to adapt our work on site in order to implement emergency relief measures.

For more than 56 years, we have made it our primary goal to provide the poorest people with access to health care. Over the recent years, FAIRMED has developed strongly and the results achieved show us that we are on the right track. The transition from Leprosy Relief Emmaus Switzerland to FAIRMED was one stage in a longer process that began even before the name change. Nevertheless, this change was a turning point.
