Switzerland steps up the fight against malaria

Swiss Malaria Group Switzerland supports the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria with a contribution of CHF64 million, its highest contribution ever to the partnership. At its Sixth Replenishment Conference in Lyon today, the Global Fund raised a total of US$14 billion for the next three-year cycle beginning in 2020. This successful replenishment will enable the Global Fund to help save 16 million lives, avert 234 million infections and help the world accelerate the end of AIDS, TB and malaria.
