Now it's the turn of the Romanians to remedy the shortage of doctors in Switzerland

Sonntagszeitung Instead of the Germans, now Romanian doctors have been filling the gap of medical staff in the Swiss health care system. The managing director of the network Medicus Mundi Switzerland, Martin Leschhorn criticizes this practice in the Sonntagszeitung and demands from the BAG to train more own physicians, instead of recruting them in poorer countries, where they are urgently needed. Manfred Zahorka from the Swiss TPH supports this criticism: "It is not fair when the poorer countries of the EU pay the training costs and then we hire the ready-made doctors."
