When should patients on ART with sustained unsuppressed viral load be switched?

SolidarMed - BMC Infectious Diseases The SESOTHO Trial aims to answer this question by comparing WHO guidelines for switching patients with alternate guidelines of lower thresholds, to improve outcomes and decrease the risk of resistant mutations. The trial is set up by the consortium composed of SolidarMed, SwissTPH, University Hospital Basel, Ministry of Health of Lesotho and the Department of Biomedicine, University of Basel, who’s main aim is to support the Lesotho government to reach the 90-90-90 UNAIDS Targets by 2020.
