During her career she worked in several conflict zones, including Afghanistan, Ruanda and Somalia. Today she is the head of the department of nursing development and international affairs at the Swiss Nurses Association. She holds a master’s degree in public health from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine LSTM.
